Das Quartett um das charismatische Energiebündel in Form von Frontfrau Amy Taylor braut ihren eigenen wilden Mix aus Einflüssen von AC/DC, über Cosmic Psychos, Dolly Parton und Die Antwoord zu ihrem eigenem heißen Scheiß zusammen – und nun das debutalbum der vier Australier! Wer nicht mehr als zwei Minuten braucht um mit seinen Songs direkt auf die 12 zu zielen und alles gefühlt in Schutt und Asche zu spielen, braucht auch gar nicht viele Worte der Geschichte. Die Bewohner einer WG, Amy Taylor (Vocals), Bryce Wilson (Drums) und Declan Martens (Gitarre) fanden sich irgendwann als Band zusammen und mit Gus Romer (Bass) hatte man die letzte Zutat für einen wilden Punk-Mix. Nur 12 Stunden benötigte man dann fürs Schreiben, Aufnehmen bis hin zur Veröffentlichung der ersten EP „Giddy Up“ und ein paar Jahre später sind die Melbourner der heißeste Scheiß in der Punk-Szene, verkaufen ihre Shows aus oder brennen die Venues als Support von King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizards ab.

It’s primal and explosive with a love of glam, the 70’s Sharpie movement and good time rock n roll backed with lyrics that somehow are simultaneously bleak and nihilistic, yet humorous and celebratory. The album is full of beefy riffs and stomping drums that rages and rolls and lives up to all the hype. It has attitude, sass and Amy’s sore throat howl.
