Nach vier Jahren des Wartens freuen wir uns verkünden zu können, dass mit „The Deconstruction“ am 6. April 2018 das neue Album von Eels via E Works erscheinen wird.
(Aufgenommen wurden die 15 neuen Songs in The Compound in Los Feliz sowie in den The Pie Studios in Pasadena, Kalifornien. Neben dem The Deconstruction Orchester und Chor lud Frontmann Mark Oliver Everett aka E auch musikalische Weggefährten wie Koool G Murder, P-Boo sowie Produzent Mickey Petralia (der zuletzt 1998 bei der Arbeit an „Electro-Shock Blues“ dabei war) zu den Albumaufnahmen ein.)
After a four year wait, Eels release their highly-anticipated new album The Deconstruction via E Works. “Here are 15 new Eels tracks that may or may not inspire, rock, or not rock you. The world is going nuts. But if you look for it, there is still great beauty to be found. Sometimes you don’t even have to look for it. Other times you have to try to make it yourself.
